March Spotlight is on Dr. Seuss

Of course, we all know Dr. Seuss, beloved American author of books like “The Cat and the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham”, but March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday, so in honor of him here are some Seussical fun facts:
– Dr. Seuss’ real name is Theodore Geisel
– He knows we’re all pronouncing his name wrong but thought it beneficial to sound similar to Mother Goose
– Before becoming a famous children’s author, he drew ads for companies like GE and NBC
-He won a special Pulitzer Prize in 1984 for “contribution over nearly half a century to the education and enjoyment of America’s children and their parents”.
