Friday Fun – 29th April – 15:30

“At first, I didn’t think much of it. It seemed kind of strange and fragile. I didn’t know what to do with it… But it followed me.”

Make your own IDEA egg to keep you company at Story Time this Friday.

We will be reading What Do You Do with an Idea?

CEL Update

Dear Members,

From 3rd April you will no longer need to show proof of 3G to use CEL BUT we request all members using the library continue to wear a face mask to protect themselves, others and our volunteers.

If you haven’t signed up for the cinema yet – SATURDAY, 9 APRIL 2022 AT 11:00 – Fantastic Beasts The Secrets of Dumbledore check in with Emma emma.fuchs@celstuttgart.de

We would like to invite you to attend CEL’s Annual General Meeting on Friday April 29th at 7:30 pm.  We will also offer the option to attend via Zoom. Please RSVP if you plan to attend and specify whether your attendance will be in person or via Zoom at info@celstuttgart.de.
It’s time for our Spring Cleaning!  Please join us on Saturday April 30th from 10-12 for coffee, donuts, and spring cleaning of the library.  The more hands, the lighter the work!  Send an email to liz.weiser@celstuttgart.de to let us know you’re joining us.
We will be closed for Easter School Holidays on April 15, 16, and 23.  We will be open on Friday April 22 from 2:30-5:30 pm.  Please check the CEL website before coming to the library to be sure that we are open.
Happy reading and stay healthy,
The CEL Board

Libraries are now 3G- this means those aged 18 years and older must be vaccinated, recovered, or a negative rapid test. to come to CEL. There is no change for the kids- school age kids show school ID or a negative test if they are not being tested at school. Children that haven’t started first grade are exempt.

CEL closed from Saturday 26th February – Friday 11th March

We will be closed for the Fasching school holidays from Saturday February 26 and we will reopen on Friday March 11th.

During this time period a new library system will be installed.
All books currently on loan will be moved over to new system and renewed.

Please bear with our volunteers as they get to grips with the new system.
If you are not yet trained as a volunteer and are interested in joining our team please let us know.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to renew your books – the loan period is 4 weeks. We are not quite certain how the automated overdue notices will work with the new system so please try and remember to request that your books are renewed by e-mailing renewals@celstuttgart.de
