As the school holidays approach, Saturday 26th July will be our last open Saturday.
Our one afternoon a week opening will move Friday afternoon 14:30-17:30 over the summer holidays (volunteers are still needed for the end of the holiday period)

We will also carry on with contactless lending until mid August and then take a break for the holidays.
During the summer holidays we will be creating an “Owl Tree” at CEL – look out for more details over how your owl can come to roost at CEL!
After the summer we will see what the situation is and decide about opening hours accordingly…
One thing that we will try to catch up on is our CEL AGM which was postponed in April. We have pencilled in Thursday 24th September – location to be announced once numbers are known as we will have to choose somewhere where distancing can be maintained.
A sign up form will be issued to members in due course.

There is a possibility that the library will be given notice and have to relocate to new premises some time in the new year (2021) please start keeping an ear to the ground and an eye out for anywhere that might be suitable for our needs … we will need sole use of any room(s) that the library is in.
