Judy Blume is a beloved American author known for her children’s and YA books like “Are you There, God? It’s Me Margaret”, “Blubber” and Double Fudge” (and my personal favorite- “Freckle Juice”). In the USA, Blume is one of the most frequently challenged authors of the 21st century because of her writing on subjects considered to be taboo, but despite those efforts, Blume’s books have sold over 82 million copies and have been translated into over 32 languages.
