Hello CEL Members,
This is what’s coming up at the CEL:
On Saturday December 2nd, we have Lego Club from 1:30-2:30 pm for kids ages 6-12.
Beginning at 2:30 pm, we will also have cookie decorating and a Gingerbread Man scavenger hunt! No reservations needed.
On Saturday December 9th from 1:00- 3:00 pm, we will have a Holiday Bake Sale with a special guest from Santa Claus! Please see the flyer for more information.
We are looking for baked good donations for our bake sale. If you can help us, please send an email to cakes@celstuttgart.de.
Don’t forget, our 5th Annual Children’s Book Drive runs until Saturday December 2nd. We are collecting new and gently used German language children’s books for ages 0-18 years old. There are a lot of kids between the ages of 10 and 18 in the Children’s Homes so any teen and young adult books are greatly appreciated.
CEL will be closed for the holidays from 23rd December. We will reponed in 2024 on Friday 12th January.

Dear CEL members and volunteers,
Our 5th Annual Children’s Book Drive starts this week and runs until Saturday December 2nd. 📚🎄📚🎄
We are collecting new and gently used German language children’s books to benefit local children’s homes and family support centers. There will be a collection box set up by the front desk.
In the past 4 years, we have donated approximately 2,370 books to 10 different organizations.
Please help us make this year a success by spreading the word and sharing this flyer with your friends and family. This is a great opportunity to send some love and holiday cheer to children in our community. ❤️

Dear CEL Members,
We would like to invite you to join us at the CEL Halloween Party on Saturday, October 28th from 1-5 pm. There will be fun and spooky activities and storytime as well as a bake sale. All kids that wear a costume get a treat! We‘ve rented out an additional room from our neighbor so there will be plenty of space for the party!

We would like to invite you to a summer get-together at the Katzenbacher Hof on Saturday June 24th from 11-3. There is a cash only food and beverage kiosk, picnic tables, and a large playground. It’s a great opportunity to socialize and meet other members. We hope you can join us!
Our Summer Reading Challenge Starts on July 1st. The reading logs will be available to pick up at the library. All ages are welcome to participate- read yourself or have someone read to you! See more details on the flyer below.
Don’t forget this Saturday is Yoga in the Park at 2pm in the Vaihinger Stadtpark. All ages welcome. Please bring a towel or blanket to place under your yoga mat. No sign up required. After the yoga class, stop by the library and exchange your books!
