As we are barreling toward the summer holidays, the upcoming poll reflects our limited summer hours during the months of July, August, and September. We do still have usual open hours represented on this poll for all of the Friday morning and Saturday afternoon enjoyers, so please double-check the dates and sign up for all shifts that appeal to you.

For the next two weeks, we will only be open for the Friday afternoon shifts. But even with the reduced shifts, we still have opportunities for everyone to help out! Currently, we still need coverage for:

If you are available to help out on either of these days, please visit the sign-up form and sign up for your shift of choice or any others in the month and June that interest you. Usually for shifts such as these, I would be the back-up to allow us to remain open, but I am currently out of the country and therefore, we will be closed if no one is able to help these days.

I also want to remind everyone that our Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday, 22 April at 19:00. Attending this meeting is a great way to get more involved here at the CEL, especially if you are interested in the behind-the-scenes operation of the library or if you would like to meet those who devote their time to keep the CEL running as CEL Board Members. We would absolutely love to see you there!

The second volunteer opportunity is our annual Halloween party on 1 November. This party, running from 1pm to 5pm, will have a bake sale, games, a spooky cellar, and more! We always need extra hands to help make this party a success, including those willing to donate baked goods. The Halloween Party sign up poll can be found below.
