With the new year, you’ll notice some changes to the Picture Book (PB) section at the CEL. I want everyone to be as supported and prepared as possible, so I am giving you all a quick update on these changes. There are some new subjects that have been added, and due to this, many of the books have been moved around to accommodate the new categories. I invite you to take a look around the next time you visit or volunteer!

My goal was to get as many categories into the bins on the floor of the library as would fit. I  tried to observe alphabetical ordering wherever possible to give the space some structure and help navigation through these changes. There are only a few larger categories still on the back book shelves, which include:

• Fairy Tales
• Wild animals
• Transportation
• Puzzles/Games
• TV Tie Ins
• Older PB
• seasonal Halloween & Christmas

Please reach out to me at any time with your questions or concerns. Also, if you have any feedback from members—positive or negative—about changes around the library, do not hesitate to forward these comments to me via email (volunteers@celstuttgart.de) or via the volunteer notebook at the front desk.
