CEL will be CLOSED on the morning of Friday 27th April
CEL will be CLOSED on the morning of Friday 27th April due to a lack of volunteers. We will be open as usual (14:30-17:30) with Friday Fun (15:30) in the afternoon.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
CEL 2018 Calendar is here
Using art work designed by children as part of our CEL Creative Calendar Competition we are proud to present our 2018 calendar.
Cost 5 Euro.
Orders need to be placed by 1st December to allow for delivery by the 8th December.
Names by e-mail to info@celstuttgart.de or at CEL. Payment in advance in cash at CEL or by bank transfer – bank details will be sent to you when you order.
CEL Pirate Fun Day – 23rd September
CEL Creative Calendar Competition
Get creative over the summer and help design the 2018 CEL calendar.
All CEL children are challenged to submit an image for their birthday month – it can be a drawing, collage, photo of a 3D work …
Please hand your work in: either in an A4 envelope to CEL or by e-mailing a 300dpi jpg file to calendar@celstuttgart.de by 15th September.
Please include the name of your child, their age, birthday month and your membership number with the entry.
The winners will be announced at the CEL open day on Saturday 23rd September.
All entries will be displayed on the CEL homepage and Facebook Page/Group.
The winning entries will be made into a calendar which will be available for members to purchase in aid of CEL funds.
School holiday, finger print, storytelling workshop
Next Friday 16th June CEL will be closed in the morning, but from 15:00 in the afternoon we have a school holiday finger print, storytelling workshop for you to take part in. In our sample we have an owl waiting for his dinner. Why don’t you bring your fingers and see what story you can tell. Maybe your story will end happily for everyone 🙂

February’s Spotlight is on Cressida Cowell
Cressida Cowell is the author and illustrator of the Hiccup series, better known as “How to Train Your Dragon”, and the Emily Brown books. Cowell has been writing books since she was nine years old, but didn’t have her first book published until she was 33. Cressida Cowell’s best friend in school was Lauren Child (of Charlie and Lola fame). Come check out one of her books at the library!
